Our role is to make the path to that day feel effortless, caring and a little bit magical. From the moment you arrive to the hush of the final fitting, we guide you with expert hands, gentle honesty and a warmth that lets you breathe.
Location & arrival
We're at 93a Taonui Street, in central Palmerston North, right next to where the Briscoes carpark comes out. Coming from Cuba Street, we're just past Te Hā Human Movements. Recycle Boutique is on the corner and Hell Pizza is across the road. Our entrance is straight off the footpath.
Parking: there are free 15 and 60 minute parks on Taonui Street right outside. The 15 minute ones are handy for dropping off or collecting a garment, and an hour is plenty for a fitting, which usually takes about thirty minutes.
Consultations run a full hour, so the free parks won't quite stretch. The paid carpark across the road or the 120 minute parks on Walding Street are the better bet. Parking around here is closely monitored, some of it electronically, including the Briscoes carpark next door, so choose a park with more time than you think you'll need.
Our door is usually open, so come on in. If it's locked, please knock. It just means we're in a fitting.
The space
Your appointment is held in a private fitting room with a couch for your entourage and a curtained changing area for privacy.
We close the curtain when you change and offer full privacy while you step into your gown.
The fitting
We’ll help you into your gown, do up closures, put on your shoes and position you for front and back views.
We’ll assess fit and discuss any changes — whether structural (seams, boning, hem) or design (neckline, strap style, sleeve options).
Quick Fact: The fitting process involves close contact, but your comfort is always our priority.
Design conversation
Come prepared to be candid — we stop often to talk about your wedding day and what matters most to you.
Tell us about your plans: will you be dancing, riding a horse, changing outfits, or switching shoes?
The more we know, the better we can advise.
Bring your ideas in any form — photos, sketches, notes or even another dress. Any inspiration helps us understand your vision.
We have samples of straps, sleeves and detailing to help you visualise options.
Cost estimate & next steps
We prepare a clear estimate while you wait and explain any variables and an idea of timeframe.
If you choose to continue with us, initial pinning or measurement taking can be done in the same appointment.
Finishing your appointment
We’ll help you back behind the curtain to change, book the follow-up appointment, take a deposit, and email a summary for your records.
If anything is unclear after you leave, simply reply to the email — we keep communication easy and prompt.

Privacy & comfort are essential — the curtain stays closed, the space is yours while you change. During the fitting you’re welcome to pause at any time.
