Quick Facts
-
Standard alterations cover all the essentials — fitting the gown to your silhouette, adjusting straps, hemming the length, and adding a bustle for the train.
-
Bespoke alterations go beyond the standard — this includes significant resizing, structural changes, or design modifications such as adding sleeves, reshaping a neckline, or changing a colour.
-
We recommend scheduling a consultation at least 2 months before your wedding for standard alterations and at least 3 months in advance for bespoke alterations. If your wedding is between November and March, please reach out now to secure your spot.
-
Standard alterations usually cost between $500 and $800 depending on the level of detail and alterations required. Bespoke pricing is available upon consultation.
To secure your spot, we ask for a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due on collection.
How it Works
Step 1. Bridal Consultation
Start by booking your bridal consultation online. You’re welcome to bring a trusted support person, and don’t forget your wedding shoes, undergarments, and any inspiration you’d like to share.
At your appointment, we’ll help you into your gown and chat through the alteration options that will give you the perfect fit. You’ll receive a tailored estimate for your alterations, and should you wish to proceed, the first pins are placed.
Step 2. Progress Fittings
After your consultation, you’ll return for progress fittings. Most brides need 1–2 fittings; more complicated work may need 3-4. We’ll talk this through with you from the start.
Bring your wedding shoes to each fitting, as they’re essential for checking length.
These appointments are where your gown truly begins to feel like yours — each adjustment bringing it closer to the perfect fit for your day.
Step 3. Final Fitting
Your final fitting is when everything comes together and your gown is ready for your day. This appointment is held on a weekday, and we ask that you allow extra time afterwards in case any last touches are needed before you take your gown home.
You'll leave with your gown and the confidence that everything is exactly as it should be.
